About Us
We’re a husband and wife team who have been together for 20 wonderful years, and caring for animals has always been at the heart of our home. What began with our own beloved cats, Disney and Luna, has grown into a trusted holiday retreat for cats whose owners need peace of mind while they’re away.

We understand how important it is to know your cat is safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. That’s why we provide a calm, clean, and loving environment where every cat is treated as one of our own. With plenty of attention, routine, and affection, we aim to make their stay as relaxing and happy as possible.
When you leave your cat with us, you’re not just choosing a cattery — you’re choosing a home-from-home built on kindness, experience, and a true love of cats.
Meet The Team

Our first family cat was 'Demitrius Jones', a rather handsome and regal black Burmese chap who terrorised the local rabbit community in the 1970's. He was then followed by Mushka, Baboushka, Old Man, Silber, Bess, Bella, Rufus, Murphy and Socks. Sadly they are all no longer with us, but Disney our beautiful old tuxedo girl and Luna our stunning Bengal-Savannah-cross now patrol the patch (and rule our lives)!
Since my early teens my lifelong ambition was to open a cattery and now, with the unwavering support of friends, family and the local cat community, my dream has come true. I am so looking forward to meeting all your feline companions, where they will be loved and cherished like my own.
Committed to providing the best care and experience for feline friends, I recently completed the SEG Awards Level 3 Diploma in Feline Care, Welfare and Behaviour.

My lifelong passion for cats has been a defining part of my life and family's. My earliest memories trace back to growing up at the family property in St. Lawrence, where a beloved tabby named Sophie was a constant companion. Over the years, many feline friends have come and gone, each leaving a special pawprint on my heart.
An interesting coincidence links my love for cats to my personal life: in the mid-1980s, I had two cats named Henry and George. I have since had two sons who share those names. Both boys will play a key role in our latest venture, The Purrfect Retreat.
Committed to providing the best care and experience for feline friends, I recently undertook a Level 3 Diploma in Feline Care, Welfare and Behaviour. Although returning to the classroom was challenging, I believe that this extra knowledge will greatly enhance the stay of every guest at The Purrfect Retreat.
As a family-run cattery built on trust, care, and consistency, we understand how important peace of mind is when leaving your cat. With the support of our family, there is always someone here to ensure every cat is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
